Well, not necessarily SVT-related, just Korean names in general. lol But how exactly is Choi pronounced, as in S. Coups' last name? For years I'd thought it rhymed with "boy" until I first discovered Seventeen and how Vernon basically said it rhymes with "sway"... but after watching this video:



...it kinda sounds like the speaker is saying it to rhyme with "hey"? So, which one is it - Chway or Chay? lol

tl;dr @Carat (and others whose bias groups have members surnamed Choi) How do y'all pronounce Choi? lol sorry for the ramble, it's really early here.

최 is pronounced chwe, the same way vernon romanizes it. he came up w the iconic "chwe not chew" line because people would mispronounce his last name all the time, it was his insta handle for a while too

anyway vernon and scoups have the same last name so scoups' choi is also pronounced chwe

^This right here. Also, if you listen carefully, the guy in the video is pronouncing it,"chway", just quickly.

Edited to add: 채 (Romanized Chae, pronounced "chay") is an entirely different family name, so this is a pronunciation you don't wanna mix up.
