1) Hi, welcome to your first interview! Why don’t you go around the room and introduce yourselves?

Jinx: Hello, I'm Jinkyung, better known as Jinx!
Grace: Hey, y'all! I'm Grace.

2) It’s so nice to meet you girls, too! I am absolutely obsessed with your debut single, “Finding Love”. What’s the meaning behind it?
J-Choi: “Finding Love” is about a girl who’s discovering what it is to love. The girl represents anybody who’s never dated, never had a crush, never been kissed, or whatnot, and the song talks about experiencing that for the first time.

3) Nice! So, who are your favorite artists?
Aya: What do you mean? Just K-pop, or any genre?
Any genre; you can even do both!
Jinx: For K-pop artists, I really love Seventeen, and Luke Bryan as for Western artists. Grace kind of turned me into a country fan when we were in school.
*Grace giggles*
Grace: It’s true! I love being the trendsetter. Aya, your turn!
Aya: My favorites would have to be Twice for K-pop and Olivia O’Brien for Western artists.
Yunhee: Twice for me, too – and Niall Horan! Oh, my stars, I could talk about him all day, but then that would derail this interview.
*Suyeon smirks at Yunhee*
Suyeon: Yes, it sure would! (she only means this as a friendly tease) Anyway, TXT and 5 Seconds of Summer for me.
Yuka: Monsta X and the rapper Nelly.
Grace: Oh, Nelly is a good one! My favorites are pretty much the same as Jinx’s – Seventeen and Luke Bryan.
J-Choi: Probably AleXa and Kelly Clarkson. Especially Kelly; she’s my idol!

4) I see a lot of good music taste in you all! Is there anybody who you’d especially love to collaborate with? Why so?
Grace: I think Jae had a great idea with Kelly Clarkson. I mean, that girl has pipes! It’s no wonder she won her season of American Idol.

5) Sweet! I don’t think she’s ever worked with a K-pop artist before, so this would be a first for both parties! Speaking of you as a K-pop artist, what was the trainee process like for all of you? How were you picked?
Suyeon: It was different for all of us. Our training periods ranged from just three months all the way up to three and a half years.
Grace: Do you want to hear a funny story about the day I got the big news?

Grace: Well, I majored in child psychology in college, and I was on my way to psych class when I got the call. I was literally in my car trying to multitask by driving and talking on the phone, and I was so shocked when I heard I made the group that I almost rear-ended the idled car in front of me.
Jinx: True story.

7) What a variety of alternate paths; I like that! Do you have any special talents or charms?
Yuka: We all have charms related to our looks; like, Jinx’s charm is her dimples, Aya’s is her eyes, and Grace’s is her twangy accent. But mine is that I can mimic some bird calls.

8) Another thing that impressed me was your first stage performance last night! How did you feel afterwards?
Yunhee: We felt exhausted, what with the rigorous choreography and all, but it was totally worth it. Right, girls?

9) I love that answer! Tell me, what are your goals as an idol?
Jinx: Definitely to encourage our fans, especially our single fans, to find somebody they can truly love. We want to make relatable music and make our fans happy.
