I take that as a sign and leave them alone I still think it's kind of rude though...

I build it up in my head and wonder what I did wrong. I wait for them to respond to me, and after a few weeks I’ll do one last reach out, and if they still ghost, I attempt to walk away

Yeah I can't help but wonder what happened... I also know there is not anything I can do about it. I won't even bother reaching out, cause I would feel pathetic.

I would feel the same too but I cling onto the “what if they’re just busy” idea. It’s not healthy in the slightest. I guess I’d just rather someone tell me they don’t like me

Just move on with my life until they get back and then it'd depend on the reason since some people end up ghosting everyone due to them just shutting themselves away and you don't want to push someone out if they had a legitimate reason
