no fr. Kpop is too clean, and while most music is manufactured. With kpop it's rlly obvious + most K-R&B /K-HH artists write/produce their own music. And it fr just sounds more aunthentic

i love it when the music has a rough edge, this slight 'homemade' or 'unfinished' feel. if the lyrics dont always rhyme or deal with gritty topics. it grinds me differently and is so much better than "cheer up baby cherr up baby shy shy shy" (no shade to twice, eh)

no fr, I also love it when it has actual emotion to it. Like where it is to a degree personal to an artist or is at the very least portrayed that way

even if that emotion is anger, its so much better and feels like the artists letting you into their personal lives & minds. its amazing, great, even if it can be a bit hard to listen at first

mostly because they cant curse, write and produce the songs themselves, or do personal/darker topics. i get it and am not asking for all kpop artists to start making damien luci level music, but it can be suffocating to hear the candy sweet songs that are being mass-produced these days

it feels odd, hearing all these bubble pop love songs & songs about being 'savage' and 'badass' when mostly these songs are written by some middle aged man and given to the groups to sing & dance perfectly, all smiles no frowns. nothing wrong with that lane of music, but i hate it and thats why i turn to the gritty rap or even self-produced r&b that other artists employ
