Tomorrow I’ll put a border around my island to see what space I have to work with, it’ll be a lot of fun though challenging to do. My native fruit is pears (cherries are my sister fruit), but I actually have all of them in my storage. My villagers don’t match the tropical kinda theme, but I did hunt and manage to find Flora

I love naps <3 they ruin my sleep schedule though, do you have any tips on how to prevent that?

I take strong sleeping meds at night, but also I think that’s why I sleep a lot during the day lately too, since one of my sleeping meds is extended release and therefore makes me sleepy throughout the day. So I don’t really have tips other than be prescribed meds (and I don’t recommend that if not needed)
And I like trying foods from around the world or imitating foods I’ve had in other parts of the world
do you want to see the gift I got her? I got her Russian snacks but also a cute gift from my travels, I can dm you to show you

Sometimes you just need to flatten and then just go with the flow. Another tip is to start from the back and work your way forwards.
What I’m doing after finishing the border is using markers on the ground to know where to put water, areas for houses and my pathing before I start terraforming for real.

I’m moving throughout the next week or so, taking car loads of boxes up and then next Saturday (the 14th) we get the mover’s help. Today it was mostly bringing bags and boxes up the stairs. We have three flights of stairs in the new place

I refuse to flatten it! I did that on my last island it made everything worse LOL. I had to restart it, because I had no clue where to make cliffs or anything.
Oh that's a good idea, In the past I would just work on random parts of the island... Starting on one section and completing it until it's finished does seem easier... I also make things more difficult haha
