If you came into Kpop in a DIFFERENT era
than the one that originally grabbed you
what group do you think would've convinced you to like Kpop and join the fandom/community?

I came in during the 2nd generation.
So if I had to pick a group from 3rd or 4th generation.

I think from 3rd it would be Red Velvet/OMG or EXO & NCT would've been the one.
(I'm basing this off a website that stated what they think the 3rd gen is)

If I joined during 4th generation it would be EVERGLOW/ENHYPHEN/Woo!Ah!/Billlie/Weeekly.

SHINee hooked me in during the 2nd gen. If I were to join kpop in the 3rd gen it would’ve probably have been BTS or EXO. If I were to join kpop in the fourth gen it probably would have been Stray Kids or P1Harmony.

I joined K-Pop during the start of the 3rd Generation, but I was listening to SHINee and Girls’ Generation at that time.

If I was a K-Pop stan during the 2nd generation, I probably would been listening to Super Junior and Wonder Girls.

If I became a K-Pop stan during the 4th Generation, I would have been interested in Weeekly and Billlie.

4th would be literally anybody because I'm obsessed with the fourth generation

Red Velvet is 3rd gen.

Not sure yet about 4th gen --- Aespa and Billlie are at the top of my list right now.

I came around 2nd Gen.

After "leaving" K-Pop and coming back to it, speaking from actual events, I'd choose Twice because that's what yoinked me back in. Speaking hypothetically, I'd say RV because they're my favorite 3G group.

If I came in during 4G, it would most likely be STAYC because they're pretty much the only 4G group I regularly listen to now (and the only ones I know other than AESPA because I'm back in the downswing/pigeon-hole part of K-Pop where I only listen to songs I like over discovering new songs, for the most part).

It would've had to have been a GG either way because BGs take longer for me to get into. (And I'ma be honest -- I don't even know where 3G ends and 4G begins, so that's another convo xD)

i joined at the end of the second generation/debut of the third generation so if I had joined during the 4th generation, I would say Purple Kiss and aespa.

i joined during 3rd gen so if i had to choose a 4th gen group, definitely ive. maybe enhypen, idk. but i don't know if i would be this involved w kpop if it wasn't for svt though. there's a few groups whose music i really enjoy but if i'm completely honest, none of them click w me the way svt does. i can imagine i would stan them for a couple years, then slowly lose interest and move on w my life.

edit: if fromis is 4th gen then i'll go with them <33

I joined pretty much on the 3rd/4th gen cusp, so for second gen, probably Super Junior and Girls' Generation. They were what the Asian fans of this group I used to stan were talking about most besides this group. Was 2007 second generation?

Stays Kids' pre-debuted in 2017 as well as Treasure (And yet Im not a huge fan of them.... X_X) but more into Stray Kids
SO If I could pick a 4th Gen Stray Kids & Itzy

3rd Gen: Twice & Blackpink

I think I would have just been a casual fan if I discovered the genre in 2nd gen tbh
For fourth it would be Ateez and Stray kids
