garam received punishment. whether those 6 hours of special education were enough or not, it sounds like things were settled all those years ago and the victim was trying to move on.

if i understood correctly the victim only attempted to take their life after the allegations blew up and old schoolmates began to threaten them; not because of garam's abuse directly. i'm not surprised hybe/soumu tried to ""protect"" their artist (mostly just to cover their own asses), but hybe allowed things to spiral out of control like this and put both the victim and garam at risk. the best thing they could've done for the victim, for garam and for le sserafim was to kick her out or at least put her on hiatus as soon as the allegations came out. not to punish her per se, but to protect her and everyone else who is involved.

the problem is not only that hybe/soumu failed to do proper background checks but that they were too greedy to put a stop to this when they had the chance. they put money and their own reputation above the well-being of their artist and the victim.

and well, hybe don't care about the victim who they don't know, they only care about their investments, and that is garam. 🙃

still no idea, whats the mentality behind the letting the other 5 and le sserafim take the fall for it.
