We have enabled a protection frontend for our website, for now gif uploads will fail if it doesn't process after more than 30 seconds due to the protection feature, we asked and they told us there is no workaround, around june when we move to a much more powerful server, gif uploads will be much faster and not fail.

WARNING
Please do not change your current gif display pictures or you will risk losing it.

Check out this guide to improve your chances of uploading, its all basically a test of your luck.

Just an update, the security feature provides performance improvements for site loads and on the fly image optimisation for our website which should improve page loads for mobile and desktop.
