1. The fact that the LGBTQ community is supposed to be for nonconforming individuals but in reality we just created a sub-community with more conforming rules.

2 the fact that nonbinary has a 'look' not all of us are 5'5" white queers that love frogs, and have dyed hair.

3. The fact everything has to be labeled... Is that helping me or are you just trying to make it easier for yourself.

4. The fact yt queers will die on a hill to try and compare their problems with POC queers. Your white privilege doesn't magically vanish just because you're queer.

5. The amount of aave used in the community. Kindly stop talking.

I'm going to speak about this one specifically because I have experienced it. I have questioned labels several times and people have told me that changing my mind is too complicated for them. Finding yourself is a journey and I feel like labels are just made to make things easier for other people, but tbh identity is confusing, at the end of the day i will like who i like and present how i want to

It doesn't matter what's complicated for them. It only matters how it feels for you.

There's a lot of discourse in the LGBTQ community to the point where it doesn't feel safe... Don't even get me started on the racism.

Most bisexuals have a preference for a certain gender, and it isn’t all “50-50”. It’s just a natural preferment. It is totally fine if someone doesn’t think they do prefer men over women (or for any two gender they are attracted to) but it’s also totally fine if they do. It doesn’t make you any less bi.

I think people forget that we choose our labels. Our labels don't define us . The community has kind of taken these labels and ran with it, stereotyping us even further :( I think it's really disheartening when you see so much label discourse online when there really doesn't need to be.

They often forget that sexuality is a spectrum it fluctuates and is never a fixed thing. And gender just isn't real. It's a social construct. All in all we shouldn't need labels. Ofc if that makes others comfortable then go ahead. But they shouldn't be 'mandatory'.
