I’m being sarcastic btw
I made a thread almost a week ago and mentioned my mom and I have Covid (and unfortunately it’s still kickin’:jisoosmh:) Mine has gotten better with the normal sickness type symptoms, I still have a bit of a sore throat, dizziness and coughing but it’s definitely better than what was before. My mom is getting better a little slower than me (she’s immune compromised), her cough and sore throat is still pretty bad but thankfully no more cold sweats, headaches, etc…
But one thing for me that hasn’t gotten at all better and actually at times I feel like it’s getting worse is just me not 100% completely understanding basic things that I know should be easy for me to comprehend but.. I just can’t for some reason. Even when I’m just sitting doing nothing it just doesn’t feel right to me I just feel very… off? Not a sick feeling or anything, my brain just feels like it’s constantly going in a circle as I read something, hear something, or when I need to form an answer to something. Even when I read a one worded message like “yes” or “okay” my brain just doesn’t process it well…it’s really difficult to explain tbh. :nekosweat: Thankfully I’m only around my mom currently so she’s been the only one irl to have to deal with it but it’s also happened in our Events team chat and poor @Vikki had to deal with my failing brain & I won’t be surprised if it happens again, sorry to the team in advance :lisalaugh:
Honestly at times it can be funny but it can also be very frustrating especially the times where I recognize that it’s something simple that my brain isn’t understanding for some reason.

Anyways this thread really has no purpose other than being a way I can vent because I just want to feel normal again, or as normal as I get.
:turtlehat:

aw, this must suck :((

happened to a classmate of mine, poor thing, he'd get major brain fog in class (context: he got covid around feb, but we had online classes, so when his sickness symptoms got better he attended class). he's normally one of the brighter students in our class too, so the teachers were very confused. but it's definitely gotten better for him, so i hope it does for you too!

My friend got covid and she has serious memory problems now; she forgets and lost things and is like confused all the times.
