Perfect example. If a movie or song or video game came out in 2003 everyone says it's old. But a human being who was born in 2003 is not.

This doesn't make any sense especially considering the media will still be around long after that human has died. So it should actually be the opposite.

Media (and technology) changes so fast and gets more advanced year after year so things like movies and tech/devices age pretty poorly.

I was watching a Gilmore Girls episode recently where two characters got into an argument about getting rid of something that was causing a problem and the guy said

Man: No you can't. It's historical.

Woman: But its only been there for 22 years. Unless you consider Kate Hudson historical (she was 22 at the time) then it has to go.

I just finished season 4. I've always wanted to give it a try but just recently got around to it. I love it.
