Do you have any criteria for stanning a group? (1 Viewer)

1. I have to like a good portion of their title tracks
2. I have to vibe with all the members (the only exception would be if I follow them and then one member becomes problematic after I discovered them, then I just become OT_)
3. They cannot have been disbanded for more than 5 years​

Just liking a lot of their music and liking the members really but I won't bother stanning inactive groups since who knows if they'll ever become active again

i'm not very picky tbh,, the only requirement is that they have to be svt, and having dokyeom on the team is a huge plus of course

I would even say loving the music and not getting bored. Because I like many groups but rarely listen to any on repeat during a long period of time. That’s why I don’t consider stanning many bands rn.

I definitely pick groups to stan that have an exciting discography as well. If I can’t listen to songs often without getting bored, they’re probably not the group for me

I can’t disagree with that. It is so ME!
That might be the reason why I always change of favourite group. I might be too picky idk.

I can’t pick an absolute favourite group either, it really all depends on who I fixate on at the moment

In the past, I would say the music is the most important thing, but I don't feel that way anymore. I guess it comes down to who I vibe with the most... I just wanna stan some entertaining groups and have fun, without it being a super serious thing.

For me kpop isn’t a super serious thing either. Its fun but I don’t think I would ever be a hardcore stan

It may vary, to stay more or less flexible; but generally, I have to love their discography. Bad songs have prevented me from stanning groups I'd stanned otherwise. Also, the nature of the groups I usually stan can be quite fleeting on lineups; so if the amount of ex-members feels too big for the amount of time they have been, then I'll usually not stan.

I’m not super fond of lineup changes especially if they happen to frequently. It makes me wonder whats going on behind closed doors

good music is all i need. also it helps if the group isn't filled with literal kids.

1) The music has to fit my tastes. Like, I can take some rapping (Ateez, Seventeen, Monsta X), but if it's too rap-heavy, it's a big, fat no from me.

2) I have to vibe with at least most of the members, and it's preferable if the group doesn't consist mostly of rappers.

3) Their last release must have dropped within a year of my discovering them. If they're going to be inactive, I just won't bother because there'd be nothing more (for awhile, at least) to look forward to.

4) I have to like their variety shows, too. If I find them boring, I won't stan. (I hope that's not too much to ask - I think I worded it kinda weird lol)

Yes and I even trimmed it down to like 25 from like 45
