Do you ever remember a friend you used to talk to daily but not anymore? (1 Viewer)

I was cleaning out my emails and came across an old thread with a friend that I haven’t talked to in almost a year. He left forums and was getting rid of that email. I attempted to send one but it just bounced back, I miss him. We talked for two years, until I was 19. I remember he used to talk about his kids and his now ex-wife often. We shared a common interest in kpop and then it branched off from there. He encouraged me to continue with my studies. I miss him greatly and seeing that email thread yesterday hit me hard. The last words he said to me were “don’t ever change who you are”. I think he’d be proud of how far I’ve come, I miss him.

Anyways have you guys ever had something like this happen?​

I still message miles on Discord telling him now much I miss him and that I hope he’s doing well. I even wished him a happy birthday. I doubt he’ll respond but it’s worth trying

Yeah a few people who I spoke a lot with over on another forum. We created a group on Line, and then we just spoke on Twitter. One of them though unfollowed us all and pretty much left Kpop all together, and some others we just lost contact with for other reasons. I’m pretty sure I’m the only one that posts on a Kpop forum at all now.
