Why not make it so that if a sex offender changes their name they update the registry with the new legal name? Doesn’t that solve this problem fairly easily? Or am I missing something?

Maybe im seeing things too biased now with how separated american politics has become x.x but if there's more conservatives, they're not gonna listen to a few liberals. Especially anything involving transgender rights.

For sure, but they gave the arguments of both sides in brief, maybe they did propose it and they cut it out though. But they brought up the fact that the liberals made points about the book they use being old and less relevant and that the founding fathers didn’t care about the rights of certain people back then for example.

Going by the article, it looks very conservative vs liberal. Even says the conservatives didnt want to entertain Ella's pleas.

I hate how separated it sounds. Everything is conservative and liberal. Nothing logical or about safety. Freedom's even gone out the window. Punish the criminal, but even criminals have their rights.
Doesnt seem like they want to entertain the idea of updating anything.
