yea it can get really messy. unless the owner of the form gatekeeps some messages.

I'd be against it as in the end we all have negative feelings at times that we want to vent about and while venting to a friend is fine however when you're venting about forum drama then it will do nothing to solve the issue and can create an unhealthy outlet since in the end the forum should be a place for healthy discussion and if you do have any issues it should be discussed maturely in private whether to the person or to a staff member if it's serious.

Yeah it didnt work on the forum that shall not be named at all

we actually had something like that on KS back in 2020 and it went 10 pages without any drama. as long as people keep it with the rules it should all be fine and if someone who wants drama so bad sees that their 29347 replies "user123 sucks!!" are not getting published they'll give up

sounds fun <3 i would limit the number of people who have access to the form to a bare minimum and of course, remind everyone who acts as OP to be mindful of which confessions they post to the forum but i'm sure you'd handle it well

Unless the forum software has some ability to instantly block or blur out all members' profile information who post in here the moment they hit the Reply button. 😕

the confessions would be submitted anonymously via a form and your profiles or username won't be visible at all and yes things can go south but this was released a few months ago and it went better than i expected so it's still up

ngl i hesitated to make this thread at first because someone commented an important point about making a confessions anon and it got me thinking but after much consideration, i think there's no harm in trying as long as i gatekeep the anons that break the rules. i'll probably keep this open for...
