B-SIDE BATTLE - KILL THIS LOVE
BLACKPINK TOURNAMENT

Welcome to the Blackpink Tournament!

Here's a quick breakdown of how this tournament will work, since it's a bit different from what I have done in the past:

Spoiler

TOURNAMENT BRACKET
The tournament will be relatively small compared to my last two, with the bracket only featuring 8 songs. As many of you probably already know, Blackpink has 7 singles in their discography:
Boombayah
Whistle
Playing With Fire
Stay
As If It's Your Last
DDU-DU DDU-DU
Kill This Love
But you'll probably notice that this leaves one spot left in the bracket. And that's where the b-side battles come in!

B-SIDE BATTLES
There will be two b-side battles. The first will include the b-sides from the Square Up EP, and the second will include songs from the Kill This Love EP. The b-side in each poll that receives the most votes will move on to the next round!

WILD CARD ROUND
After the b-side battles, the two remaining b-sides will face off against one another in the Wild Card Round. This will be a 1v1 match just like any other typical tournament match. The winner will become the #8 seed in the tournament bracket and will face #1 DDU-DU DDU-DU in Round 1.

And now, let's begin with the second B-Side Battle!
Here are the three b-sides included in the Kill This Love EP:

Don't Know What To Do

Kick It

Hope Not

In case the videos don't work, click HERE for Don't Know What To Do, HERE for Kick It, and HERE for Hope Not

Which song do you prefer?
Remember, you only have 24 hours to vote, and you cannot change your vote afterwards, so choose wisely!
Also, I excluded the D4 Remix since I generally exclude alternate versions of songs when the original is included in the tournament as well.

It’s really hard. I don’t know if my favorite is DKWTD or HN but since DKWTD will get a lot of votes, I’ll go with the latter.

Hope Not is the superior song, even better than the title.

Hope Not is the superior song, even better than the title.

I couldn't agree more tbh

[RukiRush]

Hope not for me too. A great mature ballad for the girls that really showcases their softer voices. Honestly though all 4 new tracks are great. I'm really happy the EP turned out as good as it is. Also, the 4D remix is amazing (I love hard EDM) I was afraid it would be a shitty rock mix but wow, its a club banger for sure.

[VillageIdiot]

Hope Not is everything I could have ever wanted from BP

[Sourcekeeper]
