Imo, most of the time I feel like they end up being cringy , try hard , and a bit of awkward .

Yea I don't really like most of them either. And most of the time the western artist end up not being in the MV and visa versa. So what's the point then . And they rarely perform the song together as well.
The only song I like that comes up in my mind rn is Sour Candy by Lady gaga & BP. But that's just because its Lady Gaga They never performed the song together I believe.
I like NCT DREAM X HRVY 'Don't Need Your Love' too, because they actually did the MV together and interacted with each other.

i dont really have a strong opinion on them tbh, they're like any other song. i'll admit i only listen to two collabs (dk & joshua w pink sweats and dean w eric bellinger) but that's because i don't keep up w much kpop outside of svt in general.

the only thing about these collabs that annoys me is how kpop stans insist that western artists only collab w their faves for clout and profit like, yea, and your faves collab w them for clout too that's literally how it works

i've always thought this was weird too... like usually the artist is big enough to not need clouts from anyone else. and i'm sure most kpop groups see it as an opportunity to gain more attention too it's not like they're victims lmao

I treat them like every song released on earth. I like some of them and some others are not my taste. I don't understand that common opinion among Kpop fans that collab songs with Western artists are bound to be cringe. It's far from the truth.
