It dawned on me, that up until a few weeks ago, these girls would have been walking around the streets, no-one knowing who they are, now they need security guards to clear a path and a blacked-out ride to take them from place-to-place. Makes you wonder what it must be like to be thrown into this overnight!?

That must be so hard. I don't think I could handle the pressure and all the attention.

I'm sure its surreal. But at the same time they knew this was the end game since they started training years ago.

This is nothing new. Becoming an idol from anonymity is a scary thought.
1. Majority of the time, they probably will not be able to do mundane tasks us regular people take for granted because you know the paparazzi [ photographers ] will chase them to catch what mistakes they make just to sell news and get paid a crap load of money.
That's why you sometimes hear idols saying they disguise themselves because they don't want to be noticed and harassed if security or management teams are not present.

2. Then people will bash them for the things they've done ~ regardless of those things being absolutely harmless.

3. The creepy fans wanting to get close and make contact / physically touch the idols-- even with the surrounding security / managers.

There were a lot more incidents that occurred in the past which I won't say because they were too disturbing as some of you may already know.
And, sadly, this disgusting cycle will never end.

So, being idols is not all it's cracked up to be because everything they do will be micro-judged.

This is why I'm spiritually protective of girl groups.
