People will be outraged no matter what, like how Jennie's nurse scenes got removed from the MV for being too "sexual" or "provocative". There are double standards in KPOP and women will always be punished for doing nothing while male idols get a free pass to do as they please. It's all about controlling women.

It's coming from two sides. The incels who want women to go back to 1950's style of clothing. And the fans who are hyperprotective of female idols because they don't want them to get sexualized.

There’s a difference between mature concepts and outright sexualization. And they’re adults. Mature concepts dominated the second and early third gen, they’re just making a comeback. Radio silence when its a minor being sexualized but when Twice does a mature concept all hell breaks loose. Yeah that totally makes sense. I’m not even huge into twice but I see nothing wrong with this objectively speaking

Many kpop fans nowadays agree that 2nd gen was unnecessarily mature and they prefer girl crush concepts. Stuff Stellar and 4L were doing wouldn't fly today.

Well not only are these Twice teasers so chances are JYP is using them exactly for marketing like this for people to be like "woah" since they've done this multiple times but secondly the MVs that got backlash for being too sexy were very provocative like Stellars Marionette MV and thirdly Sistar have hit songs called Touch My Body and Give It To Me so I think Twice will be fine as they're highly unlikely to even go that far.
