Appreciation SEVENTEEN's Be The Sun in Chicago - My Review (1 Viewer)

I'm going to make this thread very personal and detail you about my entire day yesterday when I saw SEVENTEEN perform at the United Center.

Firstly, the merch sale started at 12PM and lasted all the way until 7:30PM. This means that my day started with an early 9AM wakeup and departure. The drive was really good, traffic wasn't bad until actually getting into Chicago. I brought my mom with because she enjoys watching KPOP performances even if she doesn't know any songs.
She really loves Daehwi because first we saw him at Wanna One in 2017 and this year we reunited at the ABNEW Fanmeeting.

We arrived at 11:40AM and the line was already wrapped around the building. We ended up getting to the front of the line at 1:30PM.
I got 1 hoodie, 1 lightstick, 1 crop top, and 1 short sleeve black tee.

While waiting in the merch line, some carats were passing out homemade bead bracelets.
I got 2 Dino, 1 Jeonghan, and 1 DK. I love them and plan to wear them all the time when they match my outfit.

My tickets were not VIP, my seat section was in the 300s, so after this we decided to leave and then come back later.
Doors opened at 5:30, show started at 7:30, we decided to go to Millennium Park because I absolutely love it there.

We stayed at the park for about an hour and 20 minutes, thank you to the parking garage we parked at for the $30 charge and the random ass office building we walked through to get to the park. There were many carats walking around too, unfortunately we couldn't go to the garden because they said it had reached capacity. There were a lot of children playing in the water area, and it felt great because it was definitely hot out.

Aaaand, back we go to the United Center. Thankfully, this time ALL the gates were open so we didn't have to wait long to get inside, and we immediately went up to the third floor. I've only been to the United Center once before when I was a kid to watch a Blackhawk's game, and I didn't realize there were so many bathrooms, places to eat, and bars spread around up there. There definitely could have been more seating, but we just made our way into the venue and took up our seats.

Now, I know yesterday it looked rather empty, but that is because the show still wasn't close to starting. The event venue was FULL.

I seem to have forgotten some moments. I was in row 2, the girls in front of me never stood up and neither did I. I just want to say I appreciate it so much because me being 5'10" if I stand I'm hurting the people behind me. I also don't like standing for concerts, so much love to them for that.

Also, there was a girl who came and sat in the empty seat next to me because her view was blocked and she proceeded to keep leaning into me in order to record the stage, and she would stand and jump and almost get in my lap, it was really uncomfortable. How many times did your arm touch mine and why were you never embarrassed enough to move it away?
