When did you start your first relationship and how did things end (if it did end)?

My first was when I was 16-17. We had a pretty normal relationship and only “argued” once when he was taking some other girl to prom because he promised her before we started dating.

He was a year older so eventually he was gonna go off to college and that summer I was vacationing with my aunt across the country. Our communication skills after he graduated were shiiiiit. Naturally we just faded and that was the break up. Idr how we broke up but it was definitely not in person because neither of us had time to meet up when summer ended. Weirdly, I cried my eyes out when I saw him later that year at a garba (Indian dance) event. I think my emotions were delayed XD ​

First relationship was when I was 14, we ended on good terms and were friends until he moved and we lost contact. Reason we broke up: he was interested in men.

Mine was two years ago, it's the first time I had dated irl - before that, I had a couple online relationships, only 1 was serious. I kinda got pressured into it because he worked at my job, my two best friends I lived and also worked with told me to go for it, they met their boyfriends at our work so it was a giant group of people who all worked together. I definitely lost a part of myself by getting in that relationship. After it, I avoided him like the plague at work.

I definitely lost a part of myself by getting in that relationship. After it, I avoided him like the plague at work.

Pressured into a relationship and within the same circle is not fun. Hopefully you have a future or current boo who appreciates you on your own time and your own decision.

You know whats conflicting about situations like this. Thinking if you should warn a future partner of theirs or not. Is it meddling. You get what I mean?
I’ve only meddled with my brother’s past relationship when he was just a terrible fucking piece of shit. How his behavior was. (He’s not anymore. He’s a dick but he’s not horrible anymore. He’s a considerate piece of shit now :) )

honestly, i'd never would want to do that, because i dont have the energy and i dont wanna spend my time on warning people around 😭 though if its a person ik whos gonna date her, surely i'd want to stop them
