I just put this as sensitive because some people don't like talking about negative things. But so, my best friend is going through a hard time a lot of personal stuff so I'm not going to go into detail but basically whenever I try to help him, he always thinks I'm trying to turn it to be about me. I just use myself to help him realize I relate. I'm always sensitive and emotional so obviously I cried a bit about it. I love him so much it's ridiculous. He said he's more of a person who finds peace in solitude but I'm the opposite and need a companion to care about me. Anyways I don't know what I should to help him or just cope with everything. He still makes me so happy. He is just never happy because of the way life is for him. Again, personal stuff causing issues. Anyways. That's what I needed to get out. Also, to add I usually just talk to my mom about this stuff because she's all else I have and she's honestly also like a friend. It's a close friendly mom/daughter relationship so.

This might sound rude but I would just leave him alone. If he wants to be alone, so be it. You shouldn't hurt yourself by trying to help someone who isn't willing to listen and accept that help.

Yeah, I've figured just letting him have his time when he needs it would be best. I can always distract myself with something :)
