In 2023 new law in Illinois will be no cash bail meaning that if they don't provide sufficient evidence that they are a threat, they will be released

The 12 offenses are Aggravated Battery, Aggravated DUI, Aggravated Fleeing, Burglary, Arson, Drug-Induced Homicide, Intimidation, Kidnapping, Robbery, 2nd-Degree Murder, and Threatening a public officer.

Yeah, at this point all I can do is shake my head at some of the "solutions" some folks come up with. I understand what they were going for, but the implementation is crap and the kind of charges they're including under this new law? It's like they hate people.
