I don't really bother with fandoms in general as no matter the fandom you're going to eye roll something a fandom says that just is completely clownish

I also think that the fandoms give bad preconceptions to other fandoms. When I got into KPOP, I was an army and I always saw hatred towards EXO and EXO-L, so I started to dislike them too. However, after listening to their music, I decided to get into EXO as well. I think a lot of misconceptions could be avoided if twitter stans stopped acting like the world was falling just because another group had a comeback

Ive seen the bad side of fandoms too when I was first getting into kpop except with a different fandom. The ideas were the same though, thinking other groups werent as good but then getting into them when I discovered their music

That's why I never say that I'm an Army, NCTzen, Stay, ... etc. fandom name, instead I say that I'm a fan of BTS, NCT, Stray Kids, Blackpink, etc.
I think the only thing I say is that I'm a Carat, because Seventeen's fans are great.

Some fandoms are generally toxic. It's fine if it's just with people on here you share the love of the group but other than that I don't seek other fans.

honestly not much, after all when i'm a fan of something i'm a fan of that thing and not a fan of the fandom so i refuse some weirdos on the internet affect my enjoyment of anything. i know there's a lot of f*cked up things happening in the fandom space but after all you can't feel responsible for some deranged sh*t other people do when the only thing you have in common with them is liking an artist.
