However, they were immensely disappointed when their idol skipped them specifically when shaking hands with people in the crowd. What they claim to be the deciding factor for Crush's refusal to touch their hands is their darker skin. Crush claims in his apology that he refused to touch their hands for safety reasons as he was afraid fans of the barricades were pushing the front row too much. Some find his reasoning hard to believe since he has done the racist act of blackface in the past.
