nanowrimo is upon us (1 Viewer)

for those who don't know, nanowrimo is national novel writing month, and it lasts the entire month of November. the goal is to write 50k words of story in that month, and I do it every year. (and every year, I will half ass it)

this year, I planned out my story ahead of time, but because I did it ahead of time I lost my motivation to write I can never win. is anyone else doing it? if so you should add me on the website Im xiaobaobei which is the name of my old hamster whomst I loved very much

honestly it can be for someone whos never really done it but generally its just a pain in my butt because I always forget to write 👁 👄 👁 one year I did half a NaNoWriMo (25k) because I was not looking forward to writing random words just to reach my goal lol

Oof yeah I can see that being one of my problems as well. I always go back after writing and edit so it could change the word count.
Have you managed to hit the 50k before?

honestly mood. maybe you could set yourself a smaller goal? I know NaNoWriMo website also has camp NaNoWriMo, which is where its a similar month-long project, but it's whatever goal you set instead of 50k
