We should be able to edit or delete dms even after the 5min period?​

I believe it has to do with the fact that people could break rules and/or send nasty dms, edit or delete it, and then you wouldn’t be able to report it and mods would have no way of knowing what happened because we aren’t in the dm. There may be other reasons too, that’s just one that’s off the top of my head.
