Basically, I am in school to get certified to be a person in this specific field but I got hired on at the most basic level which was what I wanted so I could see things on the job before I did my externships. But I am very curious, so I ask a lot of questions. I got told at one point I was asking too many questions. So I stopped asking as many. At my 60-day review I was basically called arrogant because I stopped asking questions and as a result, it came across like I knew what I was doing even though I was still fairly new.

I would ask if I could do something that is in my job description so that I could get comfortable with it enough to be able to do it on my own but then would get told to go fold laundry...I fold laundry anytime I have nothing to do. But I legit just wanted to learn something that was part of my job description. This happened multiple times. So I didn't learn things I was supposed to learn. To top it off other things happened that were misunderstandings and BIG ones where nobody asked my side of things.

But basically, I got fired at my 60-day review because when I would ask questions I'd be told to stop, so I stopped and that came across as me being arrogant. Then would want to help with more then get told instead to go do something else I was already well versed in to get me to stop asking to help.

THEN the girl that was hired alongside me got told at her 60-day review she needed to speak up more...I told her they are full of shit. I got turned down anytime I spoke up.

honestly, it sounds like you're better off not working there anyway. scolding someone new because they "ask too many questions" isn't even constructive at all, sounds like they just couldn't be bothered and then wanted to kick you down when you were doing well w/o their help, that's a huge red flag imo. i hope you find/found a place that's much better this one, one that wants to help you grow instead of just critiquing you like that

I am ambitious in getting out of my current job so yes But it’s quite difficult for me to find a job that’s suitable for my life style tbh.

I just keep getting dropped from job to job.
