I'm just curious what you guys think of Kpop reactors
and ALSO idols who post their reactions to music videos.

Honestly, I think it's the fakest shit.
As idols, they can't honestly express their opinions on a song.
If they expressed even the smallest hint that they weren't a fan of the song then
it's disrespecting their fellow idols and so much hate that would be thrown their way.

To add to this-Kpop reactors are just fake in general.
They love everything they listen to because they know it'll garner love and attention
from that group's fanbase.

For once, I'd just like some honesty from reactors.
And I wish Idols would stop doing the videos too.
They can't put their true thoughts out there if they disliked the song.
So what is the point of reacting?
Making cute facial expressions?
Adding nothing to the discussion of the actual quality of the music?

:headache: :headache: :headache:

What about you guys?

i don't watch them but i think they're fine and never got the hate coming towards them. genuine or not, all they do is sit in front of the camera and have fun while a song is playing. all these kpop youtubers which do nothing but spread hate towards idols and claim it's all "brutally honest opinions" with that obnoxious google translate voice should receive the negative reputation that reaction youtubers have. and i don't really care if the good reactions are exaggerated because i believe it's nice to have some positivity in a fandom/community that is considered so toxic and hateful.

I agree with Julia. Sure, K-pop reactors tend to over-exaggerate, but that's part of what makes them fun to watch. Besides, I'd take that over the toxic side of K-pop any day of the week!

Oh, I don't hate them. I just prefer honesty.

The brutally honest videos are entertaining but sometimes just someone using it as a front to be an asshole which is annoying as well.
I just dislike both tbh. I want legit opinions on the music and the music video over fake exaggerated love for everything they listen to-and I also hate the brutally honest opinion videos where they people are being a legit asshole.

I only enjoy watching idols react to their m/v's and songs! They always tell fun behind stories :nekolove: I esp. enjoyed the recent Seventeen react vid from their anniversary where they looked back at old m/v's and told us how they felt about them :sadcat:

I don’t necessarily mind them, I think the only one I genuinely enjoyed was from the channel Not So Daily. They’ve been best friends since HS I believe and have lots of entertaining banter during their videos, they’ll always say if they dislike a song or not as well. They’re not professionals or anything but I think it’s their friendship/chemistry together that a lot of their fans like about them, though if you don’t like it when people stop the video to talk then you might not like them. I don’t watch them as much as I used to but I visit there channel off and on when I’m bored.
