I mean i don't know if i should even be happy about this
From one point,it's the best and the safest option for them since their company probably won't go bankrupt and they won't have to leave and probably lose their image,concept and sound that contruibte to make us stan them but they are saving the company that treat them as a joke and don't treat them as artists and we all know he will be back to treat them as joke as soon as he become stronger again,he is giving them 4 outdated songs even damn year
We have to wait a year to get 4 songs that aren't that good and outdated

Well I personally saw it as good move from YG, to use BP's comeback to shield YG a bit of all negative attention they had gotten. BP is quite strongly part of YG, I doubt they could easily change to another company at this point so YG doing better due to BP will protect BP too. YG should be really thankful for BP though, I feel like they were only card they could have pulled in the situation.

This man has lost it if this is true.... giving them a comeback in one of the most competitive months this year with the song itself not being GP friend at all along if only releasing an Mini album instead of the anticipated album and then having the actual mini album be released 2-3 weeks after the comeback date on top of that having the girls 4 days straight work on the video for them to jump on stage a few days later and then a couple days later fly to America to do cochella..... but you know they just HAVE to improve there preformance.

I truly don’t knwo how these girl’s back didn’t break after carrying this comepany all by themselves

He will debut 2 new boy groups soon and if they did well then bp is back to the dungeon

Group that exists and keeps performing well even with rare comebacks with mini albums. In kpop groups are highly tied to company that creates them from their trainees, give them concept and sound, that members of course can affect in varying amounts. Only few kpop groups have survived as group without the company they are tied to, these are Shinhwa and Brown eyed girls for example who both have succesfully changed companies and still stayed intact. For me the idea of BP's existence without YG is not realistic unless the change was to some of YG's sublabels.. well only Black Label is around so that one I guess.

And what comes to music, I think it's bit up to taste. Despite lot of Square Up being recorded lot before the release of Square Up the album actually did really well and the music was liked too. It doesn't seem like this comeback and album is generally hated either even if some part of it was more of BP's hype and fandom than all about music quality.

There much be fall comeback, either with single or another mini I think. It would be insane from YG to leave BP just with mini this year, especially when they promised all those solos for the girls and there has still not been info when next is coming (Rose's I think?). So I'm thinking they are having fall comeback with group and either Rose's solo with it or after it. Waiting until next year wouldn't do any good and YG needs wins this year, and BP is is now only one in YG they can count to give them one.

i feel so bad for the girls... theres probably so much pressure on them because of what that dumbass seungri did. Theyre always the ones who have to save the day, it happened when mixnine flopped and now its happening because yg is sinking. they always have so many odds against them but they always succeed. yet yg still doesnt use them to their full potential. its just so annoying.
