Well, I know of another firefox adblocker that apparently is specifically designed to block spotify ads. I may try it in addition to the one I already have and see if they work well together.Shhh don't let the universe knowwww. I have 2 adblockers Adblock Plus and UBlock Origin. It's amazing.
I had thought no adblocker could; but yesterday was an exciting day for that. That’s some damn good adblock![]()
This is probably a dumb question, but, is it part of your anti-virus software?I've been listening to music for about three hours and still no ad. It's a pleasant surprise.
They are firefox addons. This is probably a dumb question, but, is it part of your anti-virus software?
I have that ad-blocker as well. Mine does not block in Spotify, sadly. Hopefully, it stays that way for you for a very long time. They are firefox addons.
I'm not really sure it is the adblocker. I'll try another one that claims to block spotify ads and see if it works well together with the one I have.I have that ad-blocker as well. Mine does not block in Spotify, sadly. Hopefully, it stays that way for you for a very long time.
Does it really, though?(disclaimer: this will cut ad revenue associated to your listening activity)
yea that's the bit I meant.Does it really, though?
I thought Spotify was flat per stream, not a revenue share like YouTube or whatever.
I mean, yeah, Spotify will make less money, but lol that's praxis
On thinking this further, this could mean is that my favorite artists won't get paid either, however small it could be. I may actually turn off the adblocker on spotify.yea that's the bit I meant.
Just make sure widevine is allowed through though or else even the stream itself won't be managed.
No, it shouldn't mean that.On thinking this further, this could mean is that my favorite artists won't get paid either, however small it could be. I may actually turn off the adblocker on spotify.
