We must show kindness in this world. Some people feel the need to tear others down and its so sad to think that people have to go to that level. The world would be so much better If we all just listened to one another. No need to make assumptions, start rumours, whatever. Give love and if they really don’t want to be near someone, don’t make their life a living hell.

Unfortunately same here. I’ve dealt with some not great people this past year. My goal is to leave those people in the past and focus on the ones who do care about me. As well as for myself to do more acts of kindness

There is the saying that a small act of kindness can go a long way. Back when I worked in retail years ago having a random stranger pay it forward in the drive through so I got my coffee already paid for meant a lot to me. Working in retail I didn’t make much and I also couldn’t make it through a shift without some form of caffeine.

There was also a time where I didn’t have enough cash on me to buy myself a soda and a woman further back in line noticed, she came forward and paid for my soda for me. I told her she didn’t have to but she insisted. I remember I was so embarrassed that I had a huge line of people behind me and I couldn’t afford a soda. When I say I almost cried over someone buying me a soda lol.

Those are small moments I still remember to this day that made me really happy and that I now take part in since I’m doing better financially.Free coffee or someone buying you a soda might not seem like much but when I was struggling it meant the world. I would also like to try to do more acts of kindness this year as well. Whether big or small.
