it's just in Paris, in the very touristic place, they know tourist are naive and they can stole them easily
that's why there's a lot of tourist who are stole or get scam by buying things 20 euros, when any french know the real price is 5 euros

we don't go full halloween like i can see in the US, you'll never see any house decorated for halloween etc...

we just throw parties between friends
and kids go trick or treat, but to be honest there's less kids doing trick or treat the recent years

Here in Germany children celebrate Halloween too, but not in a big way like in the USA. Primarily it's an event where people decorate their homes. Pumpkins everywhere! Many Germans even don't know the true origin of Halloween.
