I don't really see the benefit tbh, they are already gaining attention so changing could scare off fans who like them as well as the only thing that'd really change about them if they did would be the lyrics and maybe choreo would be more sexual since they could do the same styling as a girl crush concept.

Honestly, I don’t see them as a sexy girl group. It just doesn’t match with their personalities and style, I feel. The girl crush songs they make match them because they’re not overly explicit and a lot of them are just fun and energetic. Anything more I feel would just be totally out of character for them. I feel like Jisoo is the only one who could maybe pull off a sexy concept out of the group but I just couldn’t see it happening.

I mean if someone were to watch BlackPink's v lives and interviews and totally disregard their MVs/music, then people would think they're a cute concept group, no? They don't really give off that fierce woman, girl crush vibes with their off stage personalities, which makes me think they can probably pull off any concept.

That's a good point. They might lose their some of their current fandom if they decide to suddenly go sexy. Tbh they good probably be more of a physical sales monster, like Billie Eilish, by being unique rather than a group that produces massive hits.

BP could face the opposite of what GFriend faced if they go sexy. GFriend faced losing public interest and gaining more fans through Fingertip, while BP could face gaining more public interest but losing fans in the process.

True and if we think about it, 5H struggled to sell out concerts while LM, who doesn't have worldwide hits, sell out arenas faster than Adele. So, in the long run, it's better to please your current fanbase.

I think they could go bit sexier since having more sex appeal or maybe expressing the sex appeal in bit different way (for example showing cleavage opposed of showing legs) is quite normalized. However I don't think they should go full sexy, since it would deviate too much from their own concept that they are doing good with and I think it could be hard for members or at least some of them, it wouldn't come naturally and could end up looking more awkward. BTS is doing good for keeping their kpop roots and I think that's what BP should do too.
