It is, the biggest problem (other than needing to be prepared the day before) is that its a lot of meat, so it lasts a few days. Thats not always bad, but it's why I don't make it super often, because then we'd get sick of it

Well yes, the hands on time isn't always very much. For this dish the hands on time is very little too. I think you don't completely make the dishes cook time included though in that 1 hour though, unless you don't actually cook or bake anything in that time and just make stuff like salads

I make full dishes in 1hour, excluding washing dishes and eating. also rice cookers can do magic, just put everything inside and you have a full meal in 20mins. (I have one with a turbo function, best investment of 2022)

Oh yeah, I have an instant pot which sounds similar. Its good for some things, but in other cases I prefer the slow cooker. The slow cooker takes longer but I prefer the result for some foods, especially when cooking a pretty big chunk of meat like I'm currently doing.

I`m vegan, so I dont have that problem. vegetables dont need much time to prepare. :)

Oh yeah, that makes a lot more sense. Meat does take longer no matter what usually unless its precooked and then frozen.
