Please don't try to shade any groups in here.
Since most of these are probably pretty old I'm sure the group/members involved have improved till now.
These controversies can be true or not, like KARD's Jiwoo and J.Seph being accused of saying the N word which got quickly shut down as a false rumor/controversy.

KARD's tour manager clarifies that J.seph and Jiwoo did not say the N word

The manager wrote,
"It seems like there is a lot of talk about Jiwoo & Jseph's part for their unit track. I'm their tour manager and I just want to clear up that they did not say the N word but it was actually HITTER/HITTA. Jiwoo sang live over an AR track with her also saying HITTER. It's so upsetting to read some of the comments online about the members when they didn't say such things. "Last week, the final debut group from MIXNINE held a V Live broadcast where member Choi Hyun Suk asked the question "What gift did my younger sister want?" as part of a quiz.
Kim Byeong Kwan (also known as A.C.E's Jason) suggested his autograph and another member, Lee Ru Bin thought it was an iPad. After some more guessing, Lee Byoung Gon guessed "designer bag", to which the other members began to throw out brand names.
Some viewers have since expressed anger at this interaction, saying their comments make generalising assumptions that all women like designer handbags.
Three members have since apologised for their presumptions, and A.C.E's agency are taking proactive measures to better educate their group.
The agency wrote: "In regards to the immature and misogynistic comments that Donghun and Jason made on February 23, we all agreed that posting an apology isn't enough. We are planning to create a section [on our fan cafe] that will show the process of all A.C.E members studying feminism and other areas in humanities.
If you come across any content on feminism that you would like the A.C.E members to see, feel free to leave comments so we can share it with them".

while I think there was a bit of an overreaction, especially the "misogynistic" part, because simply saying some brand names isn't really that extreme, it definitely didn't hurt them to learn more about feminism after all.

jennie had a bullying scandal from pre-debut. it was proven wrong and the person who made the accusations was a known yg hater but it probably affected her a lot, she hadn't even debuted :/

This one was after debut and it was just recently Jennie and Kai's "Dating scandal". honestly, if you look at the golden disk awards for 2019 (it was the first performance since the dating news came out.) Jennie was extremely nervous and just wasnt herself so that probably affected her a lot as well :/

I don't know honestly. EXO used to get into a controversy daily with people making up rubbish about them so I can't even remember where it started. I guess their biggest first controversy was Kris leaving a week before their first concert. That was a big issue and the biggest controversy to hit them. After that it was Baek dating, Luhan leaving, Tao leaving, Kai dating and the most recent, Kai dating again lol.
