I think that's a reason why it sounds fake. They just didn't know what to do, and threw stuff to the wind, try and make it authentic. It didn't work, in my eyes, but to many people it did, and that's what counts in the end.

I enjoyed butter, and dynamite to a limited extent. And good for the people who need(ed) a song like ptd during the pandemic. I personally didn't, but in the end that doesn't matter
