I’ve only been to 2 provinces so I can’t speak for all of Canada either ofc. It’s just my own observations from what I’ve seen. Especially around the border I feel like there’s more (in the Niagara Falls region), whereas the rest is more spotty

I know veterans who'd start a civil war if you told them they couldn't fly the US flag outside their home. Our Canadian neighbors need to be more patriotic. Canada is an amazing country with a lot of things to be proud of, minus Justin Trudeau but the US has had a few shit head leads too including our current one... Don't worry I can call Biden a shit head, he won't remember tomorrow.

Patriotism done right is fine, but most patriotism that I’ve witnessed is just stupid blind loyalty. Reminds me of that person that told us “because I’m x party I will vote for x party even if I disagree and agree with the other party”. Thats the vibes I get

The party system is a terrible system. It's no different than communism, fascism, or any other terrible system of government. Even general Patton stated as much. I agree, blindly voting just because your a member of "x" part is dumb. That's how you end up with Hitler's, Stalin's, etc. I try to vote for who will do the best for the US, not a party but unfortunately that's become very difficult in the US.
