Me: I know, I'm just more comfortable on my own.
Manager(Look of disapproval): it seems like you you have a lot of distractions going on there.
Me: I have attention deficit disorder. It I don't occupy my mind in atleast two ways I can't concentrate on anything and absorb any information.
Manager: So your the expert, huh?
Me: I'm not an expert but I did manage to get two college degrees while having multiple learning disabilities. If you like I can prepare and give a presentation on neural divergent learning and disability awareness.
Manager: That won't be necessary. Carry on.
