So annoying 🙄 part 2 about : Being a introverted (1 Viewer)

So as I working almost getting ready to close for the day, some random ma comes yet at first I don't take his order, then afterwards u do because my other Co worker is doing something else

At first I approached as usual with a small Hello, yet he answers kinda strange buy told me what they wanted

After I'm done I give his order then he just does a awkward glance at me
At the moment I knew he was gonna say something
Usually I wait until they say thank you but in this case instead says
Do you even speak or talk? How are you gonna go off life being quiet?? Do you speak?
At first I glance at him cause I didn't like his response at me so at first I ignored him, then answered his stupid question 'Do I even speak/ speak with people'
I said a little but that jerk couldn't hear and said forget it

Honestly I wanted to ignore him and leave but knowing how annoying he was getting I answered but even he couldn't hear me

This is what I hate! They don't understand one being introverted and one who doesn't speak much ​

There’s nothing wrong with being introverted, and there’s no excuse for what that jerk said, but less about being introverted, and more people being able to hear you when you’re talking - you should learn to project your voice, especially for the kind of job you’re doing, it’s kind of a must that the customer can hear you, not just abt being an introvert

However, I'm still havent yet gotten that b/c I haven't opened myself up yet to at least some people
I felt that hearing my voice more mattered over me not speaking much, I just wanted to be heard but yet again me and my introverted problems
But I do take to your advise

I don’t think speaking softly is really an introvert thing because lots of introverts don’t when they have to talk, introverts just prefer spending time alone more and need to recharge their energy like that

for the opening up, for your job, ofc there’s going to be mostly strangers, so the projecting doesn’t really have to do with that, you can practice on your own speaking louder
