If i recall my youthful university days at clubs and stuff sure we'd go and try our luck at the opposite sex and even with a 90% rejection rate still that's a 10% success rate!!!
I mean plenty of times we see a girl / boy that someone in our friend group liked and we egg them on to go up to them or whatever and if it works then we laugh and congratulate them for succeeding just as much as we'd laugh and make fun of them for failing???

Well it wasn’t exactly this, it’s was actually in some ways sort of the opposite, but it was wild in its own right. In the movie a man was scared to show affection to his wife in public and bottled up his anger. So he got a “therapist” to help him and weirdness ensued until eventually his therapist sort of got together with that characters wife at which point the man finally let his anger out at which point he found out it was all made up (at a baseball game I believe) and he got with his wife again and when he did one of those kiss cam cameras pointed at him and he kissed his wife and all was well.
It’s really very different from yours idk why I thought of it
