I like performances if it's a stable camera so I can appreciate the song and dance together. I don't really like performances on music shows because the shaky cam always seems to detract from the performance.

I like music videos that tell stories or are a continuation of a previous mv because I think it adds to the enjoyment of the song/s.

That is a good point. I think nowadays they make the practices perfect so that people could learn them for tiktok and such

When the images/sounds are high quality, I prefer performances; but I have seen many performance videos with a very poor quality, in which case, I prefer the MVs.
