My top 9 based off EP 1 of Boys Planet (And some thoughts) (1 Viewer)

My thoughts on the first episode are honestly quite limited, I have a pretty big list of trainees that peaked my interest just based off of the one episode so I am already falling prey to a future broken heart .
Most of the ones that caught my attention are from Group G. I like the shows lineup of mentors (I had no idea Solji was one of them so that was a pleasant surprise). Auditions went as expected, some really great ones and others… Oof! The one audition of the two trainees performing Svt’s Hot was incredibly painful The scoring system is alright, but ngl I really disagree with some of the mentors choices… Specifically with the two Yuehua teams, i get that everyone has their own opinions but I don’t understand how all the trainees from Yuehua K group got All Stars and only one from the G group got it. To me the K group did do better dance wise and were really powerful but besides the one who did the high note during the performance I didn’t feel like they sung very loudly/clearly so it just felt like a dance performance. The G group brought both good singing and dancing in theirs imo.
I said I didn’t have many thoughts but then I write all that .

Anyways, based off the first episode, this is my top 9. I anticipate it changing quite a bit as the show continues. I hope to watch the next episode tonight but idk if I’ll be able to finish it.

I am both glad and sorry for you getting sucked into Boys Planet, I love that you have Ollie there! he is so adorable and i actually enjoyed his rap a lot! Kuanjui definitely deserves more praise for his dancing bc it's phenomenal quite plainly~

To say that Kuan Jui blew me away is an understatement, I was in awe of him tbh. I was honestly close to tears lol, I love that style of dancing. You could tell he has a love for it just based off his audition. I hope to see more of him in future episodes.
