I think now. I started thinking about it because I remembered a book I read in high school for a class called Night (it was a memoir of a Jewish teens experience in concentration camps, I’d recommend it to anyone. It covers the horrible treatment and experiences but also covers things I hadn’t heard much about, like survivors guilt and how the camps changed their relationship with family and whatnot). Of course I got sad reading it, it’s basically impossible not to, and I might have teared up at some moments. But last night I considered rereading it, but these days I don’t know if I could really handle it. I was very much a kid who didn’t show emotions and didn’t cry, while these days I tear up over the smallest things (cute animal memes, that puppy bowl puppy that passed away, ect) which I don’t think is abnormal necessarily, but it’s definitely a big difference from what I was like when I was younger. I think I will try to read Night again and see if I can handle it, I remember parts of it ofc but it’s been a while so I don’t remember all the details.
Anyways, have you guys changed in regards to emotions from when you were younger? Or are you guys about the same?
