I have my baby back… (1 Viewer)

It’s not at all the same as her purring in my lap but it makes me feel less lonely to know her remains are safe in my room. I’m so happy to have her back. This is her setup:

The paw painting we did a few months after she was diagnosed with Lymphoma, about five years ago. Then a clay paw print, her urn which says “Our loving, beautiful Kiara. You will be forever loved and missed.” Then in the loving memory envelope behind that is her fur clippings, I’m so happy they made sure to include both her white and cream fur. Then one of my favorite pictures of her on my Love board thingy and her collar at the top.
I can’t say that I feel any less pain in the last week, but in some ways I’m a bit better. I have another kitty named Minnie who I couldn’t handle being around much because as horrible as it sounds I just wanted Kiara in those moments. But now she’s getting lots of love again as I don’t break down crying whenever she comes up to me anymore. Thankfully she’s taking Kiara’s absence well, they weren’t extremely close.
But anyways thank you all for your kinds words this past week, I’m sorry if my thread responses or threads in general have been depressing but I’m working on it day by day.

If they are Kiara will make sure to bother him constantly by chasing him around . She always had a kitten’s energy and just couldn’t understand that the others cats in the house didn’t like to play tag.

I’d say my old cat could join but she hated other cats so much (it’s a running theme with our pets being antisocial tbh) that for their sake it’s better not to. Hopefully mine is in a cat free preyfull heaven

Hmmm Vikki, I have 5 cats in heaven and one of them is a pretty cranky old man, I'm sure he'd get along well with your fur baby they can discuss how much they dislike younger pets together

Oof my moms cat hates any kind of animal A dog or cat will walk past and she lets everyone know that they invaded her space. A dramatic old queen
