I told @Juniper before that I'm really glad I jumped over. I like that there are more fandoms here in particular. It feels like there's a point to talking about more than 2-3 groups like you get in a lot of places. I mentioned The Boss and @Lovely_Cornchips knew who they were! And had an opinion! @Moguri asked me about Brave Girls and listened when I went off on (multiple, let's be honest) lengthy posts about them. @Yachii taught me about PassCode, and I always get a kick out of their custom meme reactions with the girls. I wouldn't have even bothered posting about some of the groups I do in most other places, because no one would have read it (or if they did, it's because they were indulging me, lol).

Like I feel like I engage a lot more here because there's always something going on and new things to learn. Like, 100% I had no idea you were a Plory until I came here @the101. But since there's more space to talk about more things here, I'm learning things even about people I thought I knew. It's a lot of fun.

I hope the originals are okay with us newbies too.

The more the merrier. I feel like I never get to talk about 2nd gen idols, especially the more nugu ones like The Boss, I mean few people even knew that Bravegirls was 2nd gen too, and didn't realize they had actually been around for a while.

So as an OG of KPS trust me we don't mind. Also, a lot of us had been there before coming here anyway, so trust me we get where you are running from.

I agree! I like that the card game really helps a lot with encouraging conversations. Sometimes forums or, hell, video games or whatever, tie their incentives to the wrong thing, like encouraging getting a lot of reactions, which doesn't necessarily mean that you posted something interesting or useful or kind. Because the card game encourages people to find new topics and engage with interesting topics, I find myself bookmarking things sometimes when I can't be on the forums, like "oh, kps might enjoy this."

The cards are fun too, and I've really gotten into them, but just participating more means I have more people who I feel like I know and not just in passing.

This is a great point! Sometimes it’s hard to find something to make a new thread about that hasn’t already been posted!

I really like this place and have stayed because here are less fandom clashes, or like idk how to describe it, like less 'mob-mentality' behaviour on here. I'm more likely to talk to people in other fandoms than stick to my own bubble as I did before. I think on the other place too I associated users with their fandoms too much, I'd be like "oh it's 101, an nctzen," where I just go, "oh cool it's 101!" I think people here are more open to listening to non-faves and I like it!
