The best part is in my family I have both a dog and a cat. My cat tries to wake up my dog who growls at him because she just wants to sleep which sometimes wakes others up, but eventually my dog will join my cat in waking others up purposefully when she deems it is time

My cat used to wake me up at like 3AM purring like a chain saw. It was impossible to get mad at her.... And she once played with my ex wife's hair in her sleep and it was so tangled she actually had to cut some of it off. That was a smart cat. I kinda miss her.
