I don’t think there is an English word for doner tbh. Donair is (from my research) a slightly different Canadian version. I’ve never had donair though, even if I did the last time I had doner was like a decade ago so it would be hard for me to compare

same never heard Donair before and just writing Doner feels so weird cuz it's written with an ö in Germany

I’ve only ever seen it with a ö too but I’m too lazy to type that Especially on my laptop since that letter doesn’t exist in English and is only used for foreign words.
