Movie Should I see Titanic in 3D? (1 Viewer)

My local theater has it showing in 3D this weekend.

On one hand, I'd be interested in seeing such a beautifully filmed movie on a big screen, but last time I tried to watch 3D at an IMAX theater, I got a headache after a while. I'm not sure if regular 3D would be more manageable or not, especially if I get a good seat in the middle of the theater rather than the bad angle I got at the IMAX.

Me either, but getting a good spot helped a lot I think. I don't have a headache, even with such a long film. And it ended up being really beautiful; I noticed a lot of small details I hadn't seen before.

If by "right away" you mean "four hours later" then yes!

It's simple things, but things like old Rose has her toenails painted. The ship she's on that's researching the Titanic has Russian language on it, so it gives a vibe of an international expedition. And a difference of the times, but young Rose's neck isn't "snatched" like the cosmetic surgery trend is these days, so it was nice to see such a breathtaking woman and not have her face fucked with already.

It's funny that some people will get mad about really old "spoilers" like that, but I've spent all morning avoiding Twitter because some asshole decided Nintendo didn't reveal enough information about the upcoming Zelda game and leaked photos. An entire range of folks I guess.
