There have been rumors going around stating that Nayeon had changed her iconic bunny teeth. These rumors have been circulating around various online platforms and communities (Twitter, Instagram, etc.). These rumors started when Nayeon recently did a Instagram live with Sana (video link below) and it is seen that her iconic bunny teeth are no more.

It's noticeable, but at the same time, if it was something she was self-conscious about, I get it. I had a gap between my front two teeth that I got invisalign for at the beginning of 2020 (so lucky me, in that regards), and when I told my parents, they were, like, offended that I'd change that. I remember my mom saying "some men think that gap is sexy." Well, IDGAF. It's my face, not theirs. I feel self-conscious and it makes me not want to smile.

IDK, I never have a problem with these minor alterations. I just worry when people are doing things that are chasing quickly fading trends that can't be easily undone (e.g. buccal fat removal or overfilled lips).

Same but the opposite. I’ve always had a bit of a gap in my front teeth and my teeth are small. I got braces but the gap came back and i honestly thought it was cute.
Then my family started saying who’s gonna marry you with your teeth like that and peer pressure won. I have aligners now to close the gap.

I finished watching that YouTube video you linked, and granted, it's a moment in time, but her insisting repeatedly that she has small teeth and her front teeth aren't noticeably larger strikes me that it was something she was insecure about. The other girls wouldn't have been able to get under her skin so easily if she wasn't. Poor Nayeon. I hope she feels more confident now.

The worst part, I thought aligners would be less annoying than when I had braces.
The edges of the tray cut my mouth but at least the treatment time is shorter. Had my braces for four years.
My aligners are supposed to adjust my teeth in six months.

Yeah, that does happen. Not all of my sets did that, so hopefully some of your later ones will fit a bit more snugly and won't do it.

The one thing I liked about the aligners is that it got me in the habit of wearing them, since I still have to wear them at night to make sure my results don't come undone.

mmh to me this is all very weird

Nayeon always fully embraced her bunny persona and made a lot of jokes about it herself or proudly showed off her bunny teeth at every occasion. I always thought its a really cool trait of hers, that she is never bothered by it and goes along with the memes.

Also regarding the video, I do not think anyone got under her skin, she is acting up a lot how offended she really is, but can barely keep a straight face for more than 5 sec at a time.

Anyways, if she really changed it, I hope nothing bad happend that made her do this and it was just something she wanted to do
